Cub Scout Pack 586 is a Scouting America pack open to all families, proudly chartered by Neighborhood Church in Candler Park. We're a tight-knit, welcoming community of Atlanta families giving boys and girls an adventure-packed Scouting experience.

Pinewood Derby
Scouts design and build their own cars and race them down a 42 foot track at the Neighborhood Church on race day!
Outdoor Skills
Hiking, nature exploration, and hands-on learning in the field.

Join Pack 586
There are two steps to signing up.
Register with Scouting America
$85An annual registration fee that officially registers your Scout with Scouting America. Click below to get going:
Register with Scouting AmericaPay local pack dues
$150Dues fund our local pack's activities: campouts, den meetings, Pinewood Derby, patches, belt loops and pins, Class-B t-shirts for new Scouts, and the end-of-year kayak trip.
Go to Neighborhood Church's giving page and:
- Enter $150 as the amount
- Choose “Give to BSA Pack 586”
- Choose “Give this One Time”
- Enter your payment method information
- Check the box to cover the processing fee
Popcorn Fundraiser
Popcorn sales fund about a third of Pack 586's annual budget — for campouts, badges, awards, pinewood derby, kayaking, and den activities. Our goal is $250 per Scout.

Easiest option
Sell online first
Online sales are the easiest way to reach family and friends anywhere in the country. Trail's End ships directly to the customer — no cash handling or boxes to haul.
Share your scout's storefront
Send the Scout's sales-page link by text, email, or social media. Good audiences include grandparents, aunts, uncles, coworkers, neighbors, and friends.
Get the URL by opening the app, clicking the "share" icon in the bottom left, and copying the Link. See the screenshots below for an example, and try the link below the images to see a live sales page.

Storefront sales
A storefront is like a lemonade stand for popcorn. Scouts staff a table outside a local business and greet customers coming and going.
How Storefront Shifts Work
- Shifts run for two hours, with two Scouts per booth so nobody sells alone.
- A parent stays on site for the entire shift — Scouts are never left unattended.
- The Pack provides the table, popcorn, and Pack 586 banner.
- The first-shift parent helps set up. The last-shift parent helps take down and return materials.
- Popcorn Pack Leaders move supplies and inventory between families.
Locations and flow
- Kroger has two booths operating at the same time: one at the store entrance and one facing the Beltline.
- Intown Ace Hardware is a single booth with a shorter day.
- Lions, Tigers, and Wolves are intentionally favored for the Ace dates.
- If your home-den date doesn't work, claim an open slot on another date after filling your own den's day first.

What should we do first?
Download Trail's End, create or update the Scout's account
with unit code CF4CM, complete the photo and bio, and share the Scout's
personal sales page.
Do we have to sell at a storefront?
No. Online sales are strongly encouraged because they are
simple and can reach family and friends anywhere. One storefront shift is another way to
help reach the $250 goal.
What does a family bring to a storefront?
A parent, the Scout, and a willingness to help for the full
shift. The Pack provides the table, popcorn, and banner. First and last shifts also
include setup or takedown responsibilities.
Can a Scout from another den join a date?
Yes. If the home-den date doesn't work, families may claim an
open slot on another date. Families with Scouts in different dens can coordinate so the
children sell together.
Where do I sign up?
Use the Trail's End app, open the Pack 586 storefront schedule,
and claim the shift that works for your family. If the app is difficult to use, contact
